Invited Speaker in the International Conference on Dynamics and Spectroscopy of small molecules and biomolecules held in the honor of Prof Sheng- Hsien  Lin.  The conference was held at Center of Condensed Matter Science (CCMS) of  National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan during  November 09-12, 2008.  The Nobel laureate Professor Rudy Marcus also delivered lecture in this conference.

Elected as a Fellow of West Bengal Academy of Science and Technology (FAScT)for the outstanding contributions in the field of Photophysics and Photochemistry (2006-07)
The present thrust of our research is to development of solar energy conversion devices, artificial photosynthesis, photoinduced electron transfer process, laser dynamics, Studies on mnemonic compounds to develop memory devices. To increase the longevity of the charge-separated species within several novel synthesized dyads and triads by using nanomaterials, protein-nanoparticles interactions, Dye-protein interactions, Dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Quantum dot sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs), FRET-based bionanosensors”.

Thirteen (13) students, so far, were awarded Ph.D degrees and three M Phil under my supervision.
